Good morning professors:
I’m very glad to have this chance for this interview. I hope I can make a good performance, today.
Now I will introduce myself briefly. My name is Wei Xia, I come from the physics and material science department of Anhui University. And my major is material physics.
During the past three years, I spent most of my time on study. I have passed CET6. I have great passion in physics and I am a diligent student. I have acquired basic knowledge of my major both in theory and practice. In May 2012, my classmates and I take part in the “ the Senior College Students Scientific Research Training Program ”. It is an activity that we can put our knowledge into practice. I think it is very meaningful.
Generally speaking, I am a hard working student especially do the thing I am interested in. I will try my best to finish it no matter how difficult it is. I am a person easy-going on, and I have many friends in our college.
Next, I will tell you something about my research experience.
In 2012 summer vacation, I entered in the research group of Wang Chunchang engaged in the direction of “ colossal dielectric material”. My partner and I mainly study the mechanism for colossal dielectric behaviour..And the experiment is progressing successfully. And now I have published a paper “Colossal diectric behaviour in TFO ceramics” in the “Current Applied Physics”. And the paper is banded 3 stars.
During this period,I gain not only knowledge and ability ,but also acquainted with a lot of mentors. Especially my mentor professor Wang, his working style, fighting sprite and his uneven growth experience, gave me a lot of mental strength.
I love science research and Fudan University is the Academiac Holy Land in my heart. I hope I can be a graduate student of Fudan University.
