2025年华中科技大学材料科学与工程学院“全国优秀大学生夏令营”活动通知

华中科技大学材料科学与工程学院始创于1952年，经过几代人不懈努力，现已形成独特的学科优势和办学风格，具备一流的科研条件和浓郁的学术氛围，是华中科技大学规模较大、实力最为雄厚的学院之一。 “材料科学与工程”一级学科是国家“211工程”和“985工程”重点建设学科，也是首批入选国家 “双一流”建设的重点学科，“基本科学指标数据库”ESI排名进入全球前万分之一。


学院设有学术型研究生专业4个：材料加工工程、材料学、材料物理与化学和电子封装，设有专业型研究生专业1个：材料工程。


学院建有一支由院士和知名教授领衔，“老、中、青”结构合理的师资队伍，现有中国工程院院士2名，国家级人才计划入选者超40名，省部级人才计划入选者近50名，全国高校黄大年式教师团队1个，教育部创新团队2个。师资队伍详见：http://mat.hust.edu.cn/szdw/zrjs.htm。


为促进材料学科优秀大学生之间的学术交流，加深全国学子与材料学院的双向了解，提升学院学术品牌影响力，搭建优秀学子展示平台，同时也为一批德才兼备、热爱科研、基础扎实、素质全面的应届本科毕业生继续深造和发展创造机遇，推进材料学院创新型研究人才的发掘、培养和引进，我院计划于2025年6月27日-29日在华中科技大学举办2025年“全国优秀大学生夏令营”活动。


此次活动，材料学院将全面介绍学院和学科发展近况，邀请相关领域专家学者开设专题讲座、学术论坛、参观交流。


本次夏令营拟招收营员80人。


一、申请资格及条件


申请营员的同学须同时具备以下条件：


1、全国高校材料相关专业本科三年级在校生（202<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: 宋体, SimSun; line-height: 24px; letter-spacing: 1px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-size: 14px; list-style-type: none;" times="" new="">6<span style="line-height: 24px; color: rgb(62, 62, 62); letter-spacing: 1px; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-size: 14px; list-style-type: none; font-family: 新宋体;">届毕业生）；


2、对材料领域的科学研究有浓厚的兴趣，且愿意在华中科技大学材料科学与工程学院攻读硕（博）士学位；


3、本科学习成绩在全年级排名前20％（若其他方面有突出表现，可适当放宽排名限制），必修课成绩均为及格以上，英语水平良好；


在录取营员时，优先考虑学科排名靠前的综合性大学材料及相关专业的优秀学生（如化学、物理等）以及有志于从事材料、物理、化学等交叉学科研究的优秀学生。


二、申请材料及报名方式


申请人登录夏令营系统申请。


学院将根据申请材料录取80名左右学员，将在学院网站公示入营名单（不会通过系统反馈是否录取信息）。


三、时间安排


2025年6月9日~ 6月16日            报名时间，过期不予受理


2025年6月18日                  学院网站公示入营名单


2025年6月27日~ 6月29日            开展夏令营活动
