<span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 32px !important;">外国语言文学学院前身是1912年创立的北京高等师范学校英语部。著名学者林语堂、梁实秋、于庚虞、焦菊隐、洪深、李庭萝、郑儒箴、郑敏、刘宁、钱暖、金慕箴等曾在这里弘文励教。著名学者周谷城、熊式一、袁敦礼、杨人梗、吴富恒等曾在这里潜心研读。学院现有专任教师71人，其中教授18人，副教授36人，全体在职老师均有海外学习、进修或任教经历。其中，博士生导师23人，硕士生导师43人，教育部新世纪优秀人才4人，宝钢优秀教师6人。此外，学院长期聘请多名来自美国、英国、日本、俄罗斯等国家优秀外籍教师授课。学院设有英文系、俄文系、日文系和公共外语教学研究部，1个教育部级研究中心、2个校级研究中心、8个院级研究所(中心)。主办CSSCI扩展版期刊《俄罗斯文艺》和全国中文核心期刊《中小学外语教学》。拥有外国语言文学―级学科博士后流动站，4个二级学科博士点，4个学术硕士点和2个专业硕士点。我院的外国语言文学一级学科为“双一流”建设学科。</span>
