本项目是中国第一个高端的中外联合培养的商务分析双硕士学位项目，旨在培养具有扎实的管理学理论基础与信息技术前沿知识、拥有前瞻性国际视野、具备较强的从事商务分析实际工作能力的高层次人才。

本项目为全日制学习，学习基本年限为2-3年。教学地点第一年在清华大学（中国北京），第二年经申请入读哥伦比亚大学（美国纽约）。成功完成本项目要求的学生将获得清华大学颁发的清华大学管理学硕士毕业证书和学位证书（专业名称为管理科学与工程），以及哥伦比亚大学颁发的哥伦比亚大学理学硕士学位证书。自2019年起，清华大学与哥伦比亚大学深度加强合作，在哥伦比亚大学阶段衔接专业已拓展为五个专业方向：<strong style="box-sizing: border-box;">运筹学、商业分析、金融工程、管理科学与工程、工业工程</strong>。
