商务统计与经济计量系成立于2002年，是目前国内商学院中最早成立的商务统计与经济计量系。我们肩负着一个重要的“桥梁”使命，在桥梁的一端是商学院全球化的教学、科研以及服务，在桥梁的另一端是现代化的统计学以及计量经济学方法。因此，我们的使命之一是要把先进的统计计量方法引入到商学院的教学、科研以及服务中，让这些分析方法更好地和经济管理实践相结合，为社会创造更大的价值。我们的使命之二是要把经济管理实践中的具体问题反映到统计计量的方法论研究中去，吸引更多的统计计量学者为经济管理实践服务。为此，我们创造新的统计方法，开辟新的计量领域！

我们有信心也有能力完成历史赋予我们的使命，这是因为我们拥有一支具有国际水准的教员团队。团队现有在职教员10人，绝大部分具有海外知名大学留学经历。这10人中，有正教授6人、副教授3人、助理教授1人，均为博导。特别值得一提的是，芝加哥大学商学院著名教授、国际泛华统计学会创会人、国际知名统计学杂志<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Statistica Sinica</em>创刊人刁锦寰先生，是北京大学名誉教授，也是我系重要创始人之一。刁先生长期以来密切地关注着我们的成长，关心着我们的教员和学生的成长。曾任系主任陈嵘教授现为美国 Rutgers 大学统计系教授，是多家国际学术期刊的编委。曾任系主任陈松蹊教授为中国科学院院士、北京大学讲席教授，2009年获得“数理统计研究所资深会员”称号及“美国统计协会士”称号，2011年获得“国际统计协会<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Elected Member</em>”称号，在非参数/半参数统计学方法以及金融计量经济学方面颇有建树。此外，我们还常年聘请多名国际知名特聘教授，如伦敦政治经济学院的姚琦伟教授、耶鲁大学的陈晓红教授、莫纳什大学的高集体教授等。他们为我们的科研合作及博士联合培养做出了巨大贡献！

得益于出色的教员团队，我们能够保持国际标准的研究水平。我们的研究方向包括：网络数据、空间计量、非参数方法、风险管理、模型选择、时间序列、数据降维等。在过去的五六年中，我们在各类中英文核心期刊上发表论文近百篇，其中有相当数量的文章发表在国际顶尖的统计学或者计量经济学杂志上，如<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Annals of Statistics，Biometrika, Journal of American Statistical Association, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Royal Statistical Society, Series B</em>等。除了本专业的研究，我们还积极开展跨专业合作，在很多经济、金融、会计以及营销杂志上均有出色建树，这些杂志包括：<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Business and Economics Statistics,</em> 《经济研究》，《管理科学》，《经济学（季刊）》，《中国营销科学学报》，《数理统计与管理》等。凭借出色的研究能力，我系先后有7人次获得国家自然科学基金和国家社会科学基金的资助。我们对研究力求卓越并且领先，为此，我们保持着一支小而精的博士生团队，并努力将他们培养成为具有国际水准的专业人才。

李辰旭教授致力于金融计量经济学和金融工程学等领域的研究，多项研究成果已跨越领域地发表在国际顶级的金融经济学、计量经济学、运筹学、统计学、数理金融学期刊上，包括<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Review of Financial Studies，Journal of Econometrics</em>（三篇），<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Mathematics of Operations Research</em>（两篇），<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Annals of Statistics，Mathematical Finance</em>等，其中三篇为独立作者发表。著有《金融中的数学方法》（于2021年1月由北京大学出版社出版，属光华思想力书系)。曾获由国际工业与系统工程学会（The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers）颁发的IIE Transactions运筹学最佳论文奖“<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">2018 Operations Engineering and Analytics Best Paper Award”</em>、全国第七届教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖（人文社会科学）、第十三届北京大学人文社会科学研究优秀成果一等奖、北京大学教学优秀奖、正大教师奖等奖项，并入选光华管理学院“光华青年人才”计划。作为研究的实践，参与金融机构的对冲基金、金融衍生品定价与风险管理模型的构建。在光华管理学院，他讲授《金融中的数学方法》《随机分析与应用》《管理学中的回归方法》《数量分析方法》等课程。

王明进教授的研究兴趣主要在金融市场的计量经济学研究（特别是对金融市场的各种波动率模型的研究）、非线性时间序列模型、教育收益及风险的计量方法、我国房地产市场及住房金融制度研究等。在英国皇家统计学会杂志等国内外权威统计学与经济计量学学术杂志发表论文数十篇。先后获得过两项国家自然科学基金课题资助。自2000年以来，为北京大学光华管理学院EMBA开设《管理决策统计分析》课程；除此之外主要讲授过的课程包括：本科生《市场分析与预测》；研究生《时间序列分析》、《金融时间序列分析》、《数据分析方法》、《复杂系统的非线性方法》等；MBA《商务统计分析》；还曾为高级经理短期培训项目（EDP）开设《市场分析与预测》、《管理决策统计分析》等短期课程。2008年获得北京大学工商银行奖教金。

虞吉海教授的研究方向是空间计量经济学的理论和实证研究。具体来讲，就是对各种静态空间面板模型和动态空间面板模型进行设定、估计及相关的统计推断，同时运用计量工具对区域经济增长、地方政府竞争和环境污染等领域进行实证分析。多篇论文发表在<em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Journal of Econometrics, International Economic Review, Econometric Theory, Journal of Business and Economics Statistics, Journal of Applied Econometrics</em>等国际一流学术期刊上。虞吉海教授的学术方向主要集中在：1）为空间面板模型提供了各种估计值的渐近理论性质和实际估算步骤；2）对空间计量模型进行了拓展性的研究；3）利用计量工具进行实证分析和研究中国实际问题。虞吉海教授目前教授博士生课程《Advanced Econometrics》，本科生课程《计量经济学》和《因果推断与商业应用》，多次获得北京大学教学优秀奖。
